VLM, Ondersteunend Centrum GSI Vlaanderen BelgiumVLM uses 15 licences of WiseImage for AutoCAD together with AutoCAD Map.

They decided to start using Consistent Software WiseImage, because it is the only tool able to make changes in cadastral maps (Geo references TIFF files) including all the necessary arbitrary measurements required.

VLM told us that these changes can now be done simply and efficiently. If a plot of land has to be changed (for example it was split into two parts thus updated with 2 cadastral numbers) an operator makes sketches of the old and the new plot. In Belgian law these sketches have to be done to make and approve the change. Afterwards the new sketch is copied and accurately placed over the old obsolete one in the general cadastral map of the district.

VLM also had a problem creating overall GEO referenced TIFF where all particular plans form a mosaic and can be enlarged by a click. WiseImage solves the problem on the fly!

Moreover VLM points out that Consistent Software was always open to make customisation and provides immediate technical support.
