WiseMechanical 4: More power more usability in updated parametric design MCAD application

CSoft AS, the world's leading raster-vector graphics software developer, today announced the release of WiseMechanical 4.

WiseMechanical 4 is a standalone 2D powerful productivity application intended for mechanical drafting and design. It contains extensive parametric libraries of standard parts and tools for automating design tasks.

The core technologyof WiseMechanical are already been used in a number of different CAD applications available in Russia and China.

WiseMechanical 4 can be used by mechanical engineers, designers and drafters to produce mechanical drawings according to any professional standard. WiseMechanical has all the necessary elements for mechanical design. It contains tools for gearbox, shaft assembly, hydraulics and pneumatics design, as well as for engineering and dimensional analysis. There is a user-expandable library of ISO standard parts and assemblies; different methods of engineering calculation, with immediate representation of results on the drawing; advanced drafting tools for creation of drawings according to ISO standards. WiseMechanical will allow designers to automate design tasks, accelerate the design process and reduce errors while still saving time.

General changes

The main advance in WiseMechanical 4 is a greatly improved CAD platform. It was big jump in its usability and functionality since the release of WiseMechanical 3. Now the CAD platform of WiseMechanical 4 includes all the ?must-have? commands of contemporary CAD software plus some very smart extras.

Special improvements

  • Extended list of supported standards. It now includes: ISO, GOST (Russia), GB (Great Britain), IS (India), NF (France)
  • IS (Indian Standard) part library was added with over 150 parts in it
  • Tables functionality was greatly improved with over 20 new operations and functions
  • Work process for holes was redesigned. It includes nearly 20 new or changed operations and functions.
  • Improved Dimension group editing
