CSoft (Consistent Software) Launches CSView

25 January, 2006. Lillestrøm, Norway. CSoft (Consistent Software), the world´s leading raster-vector graphics software developer, today announced the release of CSView 2.

CSView 2 is the next generation of multi-format CAD viewer. It complements Consistent Software´s range of products with a view and markup solution.

The amount of information encountered in technical environments is enormous and comes from different applications. Having the ability to review this data and collaborate with other users requires a robust visualization tool with the ability to access many file formats. CSView 2 provides maximum flexibility and can be used as a standalone application or integrated with industry standard document management systems or in any application capable of containing an ActiveX control.

CSView 2 features:

  • Graphical User Interface: CSView 2 inherited the common XP style GUI from its relatives in the Consistent Software family of products.
  • Viewing: CSView2 can open raster images, vector CAD-files, PDF and hybrid (raster-vector) documents and manipulate them with the same set of tools.
  • Printing: CSView 2´s many format, scale and device options assure easy output.
  • Integration: CSView 2 has two versions - stand alone application and embedded ActiveX-control.
  • Markup: Any viewable image or file can be annotated to implement collaborative content creation.
